About Jenna Dewan
Jenna Lee Dewan is an American actress and dancer, who was born December 3rd, 1980.
She started her career as a backup dancer for Janet Jackson, and later worked with artists including Pink, Missy Elliott, and Christina Aguilera.
She is known for her role as Nora Clark in the 2006 film Step Up.
She currently stars as Bailey Nune on ABC's The Rookie.
As of November 2025, Jenna has amassed 9.8 million followers on Instagram and 2.7 million followers on her TikTok platform.
In 2006, Dewan started dating actor Channing Tatum after meeting on the set of their film Step Up. They married on July 11, 2009, in Malibu, California. They have one daughter, named Everly Elizabeth Maiselle Tatum, born on May 31, 2013. On April 2, 2018, the couple announced that they were separating. Six months later, Dewan filed for divorce from Tatum. Their divorce was finalized in November 2019.
In October 2018, it was confirmed that Dewan was in a relationship with actor Steve Kazee. In February 2020, she and Kazee announced their engagement. Their first child, a son named Callum Michael Rebel Kazee was born on March 6, 2020. On January 17, 2024, it was confirmed via Dewan's Instagram that she and Kazee were expecting their second child. Their daughter, Rhiannon Lee Kathryn Kazee, was born on June 14, 2024. Jenna is no longer vegan.

In the rookie I think she is a reasonable choice. She provides a point counterpoint that I don't think you could get with the other females in the show. Their back stories contrast military vs contractor. They compete equally with each other often and fight together when necessary. he is tall she is short. his comedy is subtle while hers is inferred, like the episode when they are going home after a major event, and he gently tells her she has to shower before... and she says this stink is a hard-earned reward for saving people during a crisis.

She's okay to look at.
Then she speaks and loses a star, maybe 2.
And don't watch her attempting to act.
Her role on "The Rookie" should have ended after one or 2 minor appearances.
Not sure why they not only increased her time on the show, but also had her married to the show's main character.

i don't know her us voice, but for me in germany she is totally fine.
LOL, u don't know nearly every actor/actress in germany. Jenna does a very good job. xD
She fits more than perfect in her role and she is a very good counterpart to John Nolan (Nathan Fillion) PLUS the chemistry between both is very good/friendly with humor!
THIS is what u can see in movies or shows, if the actors can work together or not.
And thats why they let Jenna took a much greater role in the show. In my opinion: Deserved!
